Emer Rev Timeout — controllers 1234 / 1236 / 1238

Possible causes (from the Curtis manual)

1. Emergency Reverse was activated and concluded because the EMR Timeout timer has expired. 2. The emergency reverse input is stuck On.

When it sets / how it clears

Set: Emergency Reverse was activated and ran until the EMR Timeout timer expired. Clear: Turn the emergency reverse input Off.

Effect of the fault

ShutdownEMBrake; ShutdownThrottle.

Curtis 1234/1236/1238 controllers are fitted to many electric forklifts and industrial trucks (including models from Chinese brands that use Curtis control). If your display shows code 94 with a Curtis controller, this entry applies; the vehicle maker’s manual may add model-specific notes.
