Curtis Code 35
PD Open/Short — controllers 1234 / 1236 / 1238

Possible causes (from the Curtis manual)

1. Open or short on driver load. 2. Dirty connector pins. 3. Bad crimps or faulty wiring.

When it sets / how it clears

Set: Proportional driver (pin 2) is either open or shorted. Clear: Correct open or short, and cycle driver.

Curtis 1234/1236/1238 controllers are fitted to many electric forklifts and industrial trucks (including models from Chinese brands that use Curtis control). If your display shows code 35 with a Curtis controller, this entry applies; the vehicle maker’s manual may add model-specific notes.
